About our team:

Our teams support Raymond Solution and Support Center training groups across the country to develop and provide training curriculum on our newest technology products and innovations. We are expanding our team to provide further focus on Technician training on new technologies.

About the position:

We are looking for a Technical Development Specialist to collaborate with subject matter experts and engineering leaders to ensure the latest technical product introductions and updates are reflected in training material content. In this position, you will:

  • Manage and be responsible for the technician development program utilized to train and develop the best field technicians.
  • Work directly with necessary subject matter experts for content development of training materials.
  • Drive the updates and introduction of new material into the technician development program in a manner that keeps pace with product development.
  • Lead team members of various cross-functional organizations assigned to creating and designing new course curriculum to meet the demands of our Solution and Support Centers to stay current on the latest products.
  • Communicate with the Technical Publications, Marketing, Engineering, Training, and Sales teams regarding project status and timelines.
  • Collaborate with the Enterprise and Solution and Support Center Course Managers on updates and introduction of new content.
  • Work closely with the training organization to find new ways to present existing material utilizing more advanced and interactive means.
  • Identify process improvement strategies to expedite the production of technical training curricula and/or improve the quality of materials being delivered.

About remote work:

Fully remote candidates will be considered based on experience and skill set. Fully remote candidates may be required to travel to Greene, New York for onboarding and/or periodically throughout the year based on business need. To be considered for a fully remote position you MUST reside in one of the following states: Arizona, Connecticut, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Vermont, Virginia, Washington or Wisconsin.

About you:

  • A bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent, is required
  • 3+ years of collaboration on training or curriculum development or related professional experience is required
  • Knowledge of Raymond products, including advanced technologies, is a plus
  • Experience taking technical information and breaking it down into understandable pieces that can be the basis for curriculum design
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills - ability to communicate across an organization (up, down, sideways) at the appropriate level and frequency
  • Demonstrated ability to define, influence, refine, and implement processes, procedures, and policies

About the total compensation package:

Salary-Expected to be between $57,200 and $73,400 depending on the selected candidate's background.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
