Technical Lead - Informatica IDMC (MDM & Reference 360)

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Technical Lead - Informatica IDMC (MDM & Reference 360) based in India.

This role is a senior hands-on technical leadership position focused on delivering robust Master Data Management (MDM) solutions within enterprise-scale environments. You will work extensively on Informatica IDMC, designing and implementing scalable data integration and governance frameworks across complex data ecosystems. The position plays a critical role in enabling high-quality, trusted master data through MDM, Reference 360, and cloud integration services. You will act as both a technical expert and delivery lead, guiding implementation strategies, optimizing data flows, and ensuring system performance. Operating in a client-facing environment, you will collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams to translate architectural designs into production-ready solutions. This is a highly impactful role requiring deep MDM expertise, strong problem-solving ability, and leadership in execution.

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of Informatica IDMC-based solutions, including MDM, Reference 360, CDI, and Cloud Application Integration (CAI), ensuring scalable and reliable data architecture.
• Develop and maintain data ingestion and egress pipelines, enabling seamless integration across enterprise systems and cloud platforms.
• Configure and optimize MDM match/merge logic, survivorship rules, and data quality frameworks to ensure accurate and trusted master data.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries and support API orchestration, performance tuning, and integration efficiency improvements.
• Interpret architectural designs provided by senior architects and translate them into high-quality, production-ready technical implementations.
• Act as a technical SME and lead developer, guiding team members, supporting client discussions, and ensuring adherence to best practices.
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders and technical teams in a client-facing capacity to deliver end-to-end MDM solutions.

Requirements:

• 4–10 years of overall software or data engineering experience, with strong exposure to enterprise data platforms and integration projects.
• Hands-on expertise with Informatica IDMC, including MDM SaaS, Reference 360, Customer Data Integration (CDI), and Cloud Application Integration (CAI). Informatica IDMC
• Strong understanding of Master Data Management concepts, including data governance, data quality, matching, merging, and survivorship rules.
• Proven experience in designing and developing API-based integrations, including API orchestration and performance tuning.
• Advanced SQL skills with ability to build, optimize, and troubleshoot complex queries in enterprise environments.
• Experience working independently, taking ownership of technical deliverables, and supporting end-to-end solution delivery.
• Prior experience acting as a technical lead or SME in MDM or data integration projects is highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills with experience in client-facing roles and cross-functional collaboration.
