Your Role

You will be working together on Software engineering tasks for Platform products. In particular you will be responsible for:

• Understanding the customer requirement spec document, discuss and sign-off from customer
• Responsibility for certain software modules and interfaces
• Alignment and Collaborating with cross functional teams to bring innovation or overcome the obstacles of the owned modules
• Work in international teams and in contact with automobile manufacturers
• Understanding and working experience on ASPICE and AGILE methodologies.
• Plan, monitor and manage your time effectively against your targets

Your Background

Key ingredients for succeeding in this role are your:

A graduate in BE/B.Tech/ ME/ M.Tech (Electricals/Electronics/ Instrumentation/Information technology/telecommunication)

An experience of 8-12 years

A go-getter, good in communication, challenge status quo to achieve career aspirations aligned with Aptiv's mission

A Learning Enthusiast to be passionate about learning, follow trends and publications in the market outlining new solutions

Skill Set Requirement

Essential

• Programming experience in Embedded C and Embedded C++.
• Working experience in at least any one of USB/Camera/display/audio/connectivity interfaces
• Experience boot loader such as u-boot or UEFI.
• Experience in Linux driver development including understanding of device tree.
• Experience with Linux upstreaming process, preferable if you accepted patches in the mainline.
• Good understanding of boot flow on ARM based Heterogenous SOC.
• Good understanding of CPU and SOC architecture for MCUs and MPUs
• Experience Yocto and Gerrit.
• Experience working on different controller/processor for TI, NXP, Qualcomm, etc.,
• Experience with development tools: debugger, oscilloscopes and waveform generators
• Proficiency debugging embedded software systems including familiarity with UARTs, SPI, I2C, JTAG and oscilloscopes.
• Experience on Trace32, EA, Polarion, JIRA.
• Support the team for technical queries

Desired

• Understanding of hardware schematic, datasheet of hardware component to derive firmware/software specific solution
• Low Level driver development

Knowledge in Windriver Linux, VxWorks and Helix
