The role of a Senior Technical Product Manager at CloudCheckr is to improve, influence and own the roadmap for the products and features they are responsible for. You will be responsible for meeting customers, partners and vendors to identify the viability and profitability of a new feature, implementation or integration. You will present to stakeholders, both internal and external, our vision, roadmap and specific features/functionality that we are developing. As a Senior Product Manager, you will translate the roadmap into actionable goals for technical teams working on your product. This includes defining the features, acceptance criteria, goals and near constant interaction with your team.
Job Duties:• Work closely with engineering and business teams to create strategies and solutions to increase the profitability of the product• Meet with customers, vendors and partners to evaluate their needs and requests for changes to your product.• Maintain a healthy understanding of industry direction using market research for your product.• Develop a GTM strategy, revenue projection, COGS projection, and a competitive analysis when considering a new large feature or implementation.• Fully develop and maintain a product roadmap for the product you are managing.• Develop epic level requirements, goals, acceptance criteria while also iterating these items with the help of your technical team.• Prioritize and maintain a healthy backlog for team grooming and sprint assignment.• Participate in all Agile ceremonies such as standup, grooming, planning and demo meetings to ensure product vision is properly conveyed to the team while answering any questions.• Mentor and guide junior members Product Managers.• Eliminate blocking items from stakeholders where applicable.• Travel to events across the US to learn more about industry trends and new competitor features.• Performs other related duties as required & assigned
Expectations:• An excitement for the IaaS 'Cloud' industry including new innovations and use cases• A willingness to be the captain of your own ship, leading by example and having full ownership of your product• Software development and SDLC should intrigue you• Ability to say No and explain why - this is important!• Ability to 'sell' your product at a moment's notice to an internal team member or prospect• Drive innovation, serve our employees, treat everyone fairly and respectfully• Enable and embrace change
Qualifications:• Experience utilizing a ticketing system such as JIRA or ServiceNow• 5+ years of analyzing customer requests and transforming them into requirements• 5+ years in an existing Product role within an organization• 3+ years of building GTM strategies and analyzing business needs• 4+ years of experience with Agile software development and participation in all ceremonies• 1+ year of IaaS "Cloud" experience either in use or in research and understanding• An ability to understand technical terms in regards to web development and data management• Proficient in public speaking and client relations• Willingness to travel for ~1 week every other month within the US• Excellent interpersonal skills & an ability to build strong relationships• Highly motivated, collaborative & possessing an entrepreneurial mindset• Strong written & verbal communication skills• Flexible, agile & open minded with a positive attitude• Ability to work under pressure, multi-task & adhere to deadlines• Ability to work well under moderate supervision• Proficient in MS Office
