Job Description
PagerDuty is seeking a Technical Program Manager to join our team! As a TPM you will work with many teams in different domains and will work effectively with engineers, engineering managers, product managers, and customer service teams. You will be responsible for identifying the stakeholders, driving to set roadmaps and strategies for the program, leading delivery, reporting status, and holding the bar on quality. Key Responsibilities- Lead product development program planning, milestone and success criteria definition, resource allocation plan, and estimation leading to predictable delivery
- Identify unstructured problems and drive technical and operational improvement, business strategies, and technical solutions across teams
- Provide technical contribution working with cross functional teams to surface dependencies, risks, mitigation plans, and estimation refinement.
- Collaborate closely with Engineering and Product to drive iterative process improvements, and define Team Health metrics and track them consistently
- Create, track, and drive critical path, flagging and managing risks, dependencies and decisions that affect the program
- Minimum 5+ years of technical program management experience in matrixed software development organizations
- Have successfully managed multi-team dependency and risk identification and resolution with competing priorities
- Have organized a new program and assemble all structural components needed to kick off and mobilize teams
- Experience with managing large-scale programs with a wide impact radius (such as migrations/deprecations etc.)
- Monday.com and Jira experience
- Confidence leading and influencing
- Ability to communicate complex information/situations in a clear and concise manner to all levels, and translate technical details into non-technical terms
The base salary range for this position is 124,000 - 193,000 USD. This role may also be eligible for bonus, commission, equity, and/or benefits.
Our base salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range, which is subject to change based on primary work location, reflects the minimum and maximum base salary we expect to pay newly hired employees for the position. Within the range, we determine pay for an individual based on a number of factors including market location, job-related knowledge, skills/competencies and experience.
