This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Technical Recruiter - IT based in India.
This role is ideal for a recruitment professional passionate about connecting talented technology specialists with the right opportunities.
You will manage the full technical hiring lifecycle, from understanding business needs to identifying and onboarding qualified candidates.
The position combines sourcing expertise, technology knowledge, and strong communication skills to support successful hiring outcomes.
You will collaborate closely with hiring managers to define requirements and build effective recruitment strategies.

Accountabilities:
The Technical Recruiter will manage end-to-end recruitment activities for IT roles, ensuring a smooth and effective hiring process while partnering with internal stakeholders. Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand upcoming hiring needs, technical requirements, and role expectations.
- Create, optimize, and publish technical job descriptions across relevant recruitment platforms and systems.
- Source qualified candidates through platforms such as LinkedIn, Upwork, and other professional talent networks.
- Review applications and assess candidate qualifications against technical role requirements.
- Conduct initial screening interviews and coordinate phone, video, or in-person interviews with candidates and hiring teams.
- Perform background checks and reference verification when required.
- Present shortlisted candidates and provide recommendations to hiring managers.
- Manage offer processes, candidate communication, and required recruitment documentation.
- Maintain accurate records of applicants and ensure candidates receive timely updates throughout the hiring journey.
- Stay updated on recruitment technologies, company systems, and evolving IT talent market trends.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related technical, human resources, or equivalent field.
- At least 3 years of experience in recruitment, with previous experience hiring for technical roles preferred.
- Strong understanding of technology concepts, IT positions, and technical skill requirements.
- Experience with sourcing and recruiting through platforms such as LinkedIn and other candidate databases.
- Knowledge of recruitment processes, best practices, and applicable employment policies and regulations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
- Ability to manage multiple open positions while meeting deadlines and maintaining attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or similar productivity tools.
- Strong organizational skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
