Technical Solutions Architect

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Technical Solutions Architect based in the United States.

This role is a senior architecture position focused on shaping enterprise-scale technology solutions across complex application, data, integration, and cloud ecosystems. You will act as a strategic bridge between business stakeholders and engineering teams, translating high-level objectives into scalable, secure, and maintainable architectures. The position involves defining target-state designs, guiding modernization initiatives, and ensuring consistency across enterprise platforms and systems. You will influence technical direction through architecture governance, design reviews, and reusable pattern development. The environment is highly collaborative and cross-functional, requiring strong communication with both executive and technical audiences. This role also includes hands-on involvement in evaluating emerging technologies and ensuring architectural alignment with long-term business goals.

• Define end-to-end enterprise solution architectures spanning application, integration, data, security, and infrastructure layers across cloud and hybrid environments.
• Partner with business and product stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable target-state architectures and technical roadmaps.
• Lead architecture review boards, ensuring solutions align with enterprise standards, governance frameworks, and security policies.
• Design integration strategies across SaaS, on-premise, and cloud systems using APIs, event-driven patterns, and integration platforms.
• Establish reusable architecture patterns, principles, and technology standards to guide engineering teams across multiple initiatives.
• Support cloud modernization, migration, and re-platforming programs focused on scalability, resilience, and cost optimization.
• Collaborate with security and data teams to embed governance, identity, and compliance requirements into solution designs.
• Produce architecture artifacts such as diagrams, decision records, and technical documentation to support delivery teams.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of experience in software engineering, enterprise architecture, or solution architecture roles.
• Proven experience designing enterprise solutions across multiple cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Strong expertise in API design, integration patterns, and event-driven architectures at scale.
• Deep experience with at least one major enterprise platform (e.g., SAP, Salesforce, ServiceNow, Workday, Oracle).
• Strong understanding of security, identity management, and enterprise data governance principles.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including executive-level presentations.
• Experience leading architecture governance, design reviews, and cross-team technical alignment.
• Strong ability to evaluate trade-offs across scalability, cost, performance, and resilience.
• Preferred: Certifications such as TOGAF, AWS/Azure/GCP Architect, and exposure to regulated industries.
