Position Description

PingWind is looking for a Technical Writer specializing in the creation and maintenance of documentation related to financial technologies in a large product line. The Technical Writer will ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations, working closely with the Product Management Team on program execution.

Primary Responsibilities

· Meet with technical leads and other team representatives to review documentation, compile corrections, resolve incompatible comments, and provide final publishable documentation

· Clearly explain highly technical data and information in simplistic language for end users of complex IT systems and projects

· Use a variety of word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, and scheduling tools

· Able to gather and convert data into a written narrative

· Develop comprehensive and clear documentation for government contracts, including proposals, technical specifications, and project plans

· Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather information and ensure accuracy in all documentation

· Stay up to date with government regulations and contract requirements to ensure all documentation adheres to relevant standards

· Verify that all content complies with security and privacy policies associated with government contracts

· Review and edit existing documentation to improve clarity, coherence, and adherence to contractual requirements

Skills and Experience

· Experience in the applications a variety of word processing spreadsheets, graphics, and scheduling tools.

· Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills

· Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment

· Ability to successfully execute many complex tasks simultaneously

· Ability to work as a team member and independently

· Ability to research, evaluate, analyze, resolve, and present solutions to problems

· Ability to explain scientific and technical ideas in a simple and concise manner
