Temporary Math Teacher for high performing charter school in Chicago

High performing charter school is seeking a dynamic Math teacher to join our supportive and innovative school community. The position could include classes for algebra, geometry, or other high school level math classes. Ideally the candidate will have strong knowledge of the content. Illinois teaching license required. Responsibilities • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans • Utilize effective classroom management techniques to create a positive learning environment • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive educational experience for students • Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support as needed • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to discuss student performance and progress • Stay current on best practices in Math education and implement innovative teaching strategies • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge in the field of Math education.
