Tow Truck Driver - PennDOT Freeway Service Patrol

We are looking forTow Truck Operatorsto provide safe, timely and effective assistance to the public and people needing assistance on the roadway. Job Responsibilities: · Represent in a caring and professional manner while adhering to the policies and procedures set forth by Pennsylvania and the company. · Operators must be proficient and able to perform the following duties in a safe manner: a) Wheel lifts and sling towing b) Use of dollies c) Winching operations d) Tire changes e) Fueling procedures f) Jump starting g) Lockouts h) Safety procedures i) Proper voice and digital communication procedures j) Completion of paperwork involved in emergency road service Qualifications: • Excellent driving skills with a satisfactory driving record. • Outstanding communication and customer service skills. • Able to sit for extended periods of time, squat, bend, stretch, twist, turn and walk to perform duties required of the job. • Able to lift 75 lbs. • Able to work independently with minimal supervision. • Must be age 25 due to insurance purposes. • Must have current PennDOT Class C license • Must be able to obtain medical certificate upon hire.
