Travel Contract Inpatient Staff Pharmacist Day Shift Northern, CA

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Travel Staff Pharmacist Inpatient Unit (7:00 AM to 3:30 PM) | 13-Week Contract with Direct Hire Potential Location:Northern California Work Environment:Fast-paced inpatient hospital featuring an active infusion department Technology:Cerner EMR and Pyxis automated dispensing system Team Size:2 pharmacists (FTE) and 2 pharmacy technicians (FTE) Shift Rotation Details: • Week 1:Sunday (7 AM 11 AM), Monday through Wednesday (7 AM 3:30 PM) • Week 2:Monday to Wednesday (7 AM 3:30 PM) • On-call responsibilities during night shifts worked Role Overview: • Perform order verification with precision • Prepare and compound sterile medications independently • Oversee technician accuracy and workflow • Provide clinical support including pharmacokinetics, anticoagulation, and antimicrobial monitoring • Manage and refill Pyxis machines as needed • Complete 2-4 week onboarding and training period; sterile compounding competency must be demonstrated within 3 weeks Requirements: • At least 3 years of inpatient hospital pharmacy experience • Experience in sterile IV compounding preferred • Strong clinical pharmacy skills • Independent sterile compounding ability • Current, unrestricted California pharmacist license Compensation Package:$60$65 per hour with housing provided To learn more or apply, contact Jacob Freeman: Phone:(813) 358-5748
