Travel Pharmacist - Indian Health Services (IHS)

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. RPh on the Go is hiring an Inpatient Pharmacist for an IHS facility in Arizona.This role requires strong inpatient and emergency room experience, with leadership and operational responsibilities. Shifts: • Full-time position with varied scheduling based on facility needs. Key Responsibilities: • Oversee daily administrative pharmacy operations to ensure high-quality service. • Develop and track operational and financial outcome measures. • Implement and evaluate department policies, ensuring regulatory compliance. • Supervise and support staff, fostering professional growth and training. • Manage purchasing and inventory to maintain cost-effective availability of pharmaceuticals. • Utilize Scriptpro with SP200 Robot and RPMS Electronic Health Record (transitioning to a new EHR system). • Participate in continuous quality improvement and hospital-wide initiatives. Job Requirements: • Five years of professional pharmacy experience, with at least two years in management. • Bachelors degree in Pharmacy required; PharmD preferred (including one year of residency). • Active and valid state pharmacy license. • BLS certification within 30 days of hire. • ACLS & PALS certifications required (PALS can be obtained on-site within the first month).Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen. • Compensation for this position ranges from $57.00 to $62.00.
