Job description
We are seeking experienced Unarmed Security Officers to become an integral part of our team. The selected individual will patrol and secure assigned premises, ensuring the safety of the location.
*NOTE: The Officer should have open availability in case of needs for our other sites*
Responsibilities:
Secure Clients and ensure clients expectations are met
Ensure clients valuables are secure
Secure buildings, lots, etc.
Conduct mobile foot patrols, vehicle patrols, and/or bike patrols as requested per site
Responsibilities shall vary depending on site
Qualifications:
At least two full years of previous experience in security, law enforcement, or other related fields (must provide proof of employment)
Familiarity with security equipment
Ability to handle physical workload
Must have strong attention to detail
Must have a positive and respectful attitude towards peers and management
Must have excellent work ethic
Must be punctual and dependable
HS Diploma or equivalent
Ability to work with the public
Ability to work with children and youth
Must be able to pass a Mandatory Background Check, Child Abuse clearance, and Random Drug Screening
Must have Open Availability
Must have reliable means of transportation

HIRING BONUS: Upon completing the necessary requirements for onboarding and a decision has been made to hire the selected candidate, the newly hired employee will receive a "sign on" BONUS of $500.
NOTE: The $500 sign on bonus will be rewarded as follows:
• The newly hired employee will receive $250 additional on their first paycheck
• Upon completing 90 days of employment, the employee will receive the remaining $250 on their paycheck
• If the employee fails to complete 90 days, the $250 that has been previously rewarded shall be deducted from their final pay check as a result of failure to complete agreement terms
• A "HIRING BONUS" agreement shall be signed between the newly hired employee and CEO of UPSS for the terms of the bonus
• The "HIRING BONUS" is not mandatory and the new hire can choose to opt-out of this offer
