Job Description

We're on a mission to create a diverse group of future leaders. We do that through professional apprenticeships because we believe learning on-the-job creates a more equitable and successful path to careers. We find, train and support talented individuals, wherever they are in their career journey, and equip them with the in-demand tech, software engineering, and data skills to transform their careers and deliver a better route to growth for their employers.
We've had some big achievements. We hit 10,000 apprentices in our community - and counting. We launched one of the largest data apprenticeship programs in the UK with Jaguar Land Rover, and we've partnered with companies like Mars, Verizon and CitiBank. Not to forget becoming a mission-driven EdTech unicorn after our $220m Series D.
But we aren't stopping here. Join Multiverse and build the future of learning at work.
The Opportunity
As a UX Coach, you will be responsible for leading a cohort of apprentices through our year-long User Experience professional apprentice program. Your role will be a mixture of workshops and personalized coaching where you'll be supporting apprentices across multiple businesses to become the next generation of business leaders. This is a full-time, permanently remote role.
Specifically, you will:
  • Build a vibrant community of people from many backgrounds and ensure a motivating and supportive virtual environment
  • Take full responsibility for the progress that your cohorts make through their apprenticeship
  • Work with your apprentices' managers to understand the needs of their role and how to best support their professional development
  • Work internally with Multiverse colleagues to ensure first-class delivery and program quality
  • Monitor the progress of apprentices through data collection and sharing insights with the Program team and partners to facilitate the next steps in the learning journey
  • Help iterate and further build the program by working closely with our Learning Design & Learning Products team

About you
  • You have experience wireframing, creating prototypes with Figma and Adobe XD, and running userability tests
  • You can communicate with, influence, and consult designers and researchers at various points of their career - from senior stakeholders to people at the start of their career
  • You have some practical teaching, managing, or mentorship experience in an academic or industry environment
  • You are passionate about delivering the best learning opportunities and supporting others on their development journey
  • Preferred: Some experience with front-ending coding languages (HTML, CSS, and JavaScript)
  • You align closely with our values and can share examples of how you have demonstrated them.
