We are seeking a highly skilled UX Designer to lead design strategy and delivery for our government clients.
Location
This role can work remotely from anywhere in the USA. You must be legally authorized to work in the US.β―Bixal does not provide visa sponsorship.β―Β

What Will You Do?
As a UX Designer, you will be responsible for defining design strategy and delivering exceptional user experiences for complex digital solutions. You will lead cross-functional design teams, collaborate with senior executives and clients, and promote a culture of design excellence.

Responsibilities
- Developing design strategies that align with business goals and user needs
- Leading user research efforts to identify insights and opportunities
- Developing design frameworks, principles, and guidelines that enable consistency and scalability across multiple products and services
- Leading the design of complex digital solutions, from concept to launch, and ensuring that the user experience is aligned with project goals and objectives
- Mentoring and guiding junior and senior UX designers to improve their skills and promote a culture of design excellence
- Conducting usability testing and gathering feedback from users to continuously improve the user experience
- Staying up-to-date with the latest design trends, tools, and techniques, and sharing knowledge with the team to promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
- Collaborating with other designers, developers, and project managers to ensure that design solutions are aligned with project requirements and timelines
- Building and maintaining relationships with senior executives and clients to drive design excellence and business growth
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in UX design, human-computer interaction, or a related field
- 8+ years of experience in UX design, preferably in a federal consulting or government environment
- Proven track record of leading the design of complex digital solutions for government clients
- Strong portfolio that demonstrates a range of UX design skills, including user research, wireframing, prototyping, and visual design
- Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Familiarity with accessibility and Section 508 compliance guidelines
- Must be able to pass and maintain a Public Trust security clearance
