This role offers the opportunity to join a highly collaborative and fast-paced environment where user insights directly shape product direction and design decisions. You will lead end-to-end UX research initiatives, working across digital products and sometimes physical hardware, ensuring experiences are grounded in real user needs. You will operate with a high level of autonomy while partnering closely with designers, product managers, and engineers during design sprints. Your insights will directly influence product strategy, usability, and innovation outcomes. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in complexity, iteration, and stakeholder collaboration.
Accountabilities:
- Lead end-to-end UX research activities, independently designing, executing, and synthesizing studies that inform product and design decisions across multiple platforms and touchpoints.
- Conduct a wide range of qualitative and quantitative research methods including usability testing, contextual inquiries, interviews, surveys, diary studies, card sorting, tree testing, and ethnographic research.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams during design sprints to define user problems, validate concepts, and iterate on solutions in real time.
- Develop behavioral personas, journey maps, workflow analyses, and user requirement definitions to support product discovery and optimization.
- Translate complex research findings into clear, actionable insights and recommendations for stakeholders at all levels.
- Support both in-person and remote research fielding, including testing of software and hardware products in real-world environments.
- Contribute to research strategy, methodology selection, and continuous improvement of UX research practices across teams.
- 4+ years of experience in UX research, or 5+ years preferred, ideally within fast-paced product or agency environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field, with a Master’s degree preferred in Human Factors, HCI, Statistics, Anthropology, Psychology, Industrial Engineering, Marketing Research, or similar disciplines.
- Strong command of both qualitative and quantitative research methods and tools such as Qualtrics, Optimal Workshop, and UserZoom.
- Proven ability to independently manage research projects from planning through execution and storytelling of insights.
- Experience working directly with product teams in agile or design sprint environments, acting as an embedded research partner.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills with the ability to influence product direction.
- Comfortable working in dynamic, evolving environments with shifting priorities and cross-functional collaboration.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail in both behavioral and data-driven research.
- Competitive compensation aligned with experience and industry benchmarks.
- Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and life insurance coverage.
- Supplemental insurance options including disability coverage and additional protection plans.
- 401(k) retirement plan eligibility after one year of employment.
- Paid time off including vacation days, sick leave, and company holidays.
- Flexible remote-first work environment with opportunities for in-person research and collaboration.
- Opportunity to work with Fortune 500 clients and complex, high-impact product teams.
- Professional growth in a culture that values learning, curiosity, and continuous improvement.
