Grand Canyon Education is currently seeking a passionate and creative UX/UI Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in both user experience and user interface design, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for creating intuitive and visually appealing interfaces. In this role, you will collaborate closely with other designers and cross-functional teams to conceptualize, design, and implement user interfaces that delight and engage our audience.
What you will do:

Create wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to visualize and communicate design concepts and interactions.

Follow accessibility standards and guidelines to ensure designs are inclusive for all users.

Ensure designs are implemented accurately by collaborating closely with developers and providing design assets and specifications.

Analyze user sessions, heatmaps, funnels and other data using Google Analytics and FullStory to gather insights and inform design decisions.

Collaborate with managers, developers, and stakeholders to understand project requirements, user needs, and business objectives.

Present research findings, design decisions and insights effectively to diverse audiences.

Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in UX and UI design
What you will have:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction, a related field or equivalent experience.

3+ years of experience in a UX or UI design role required, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design process, approach to research, and completed projects.

Proficiency in Figma and in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite to create icons, illustrations, and other visual elements.

Experience utilizing web analytics tools for research such as Google Analytics and FullStory.

Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, interaction design, and information architecture.

Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to collaborate effectively with developers and implement designs.

Excellent communication, collaboration, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and with other team members.
