We are seeking a Vice President of Marketing to lead our marketing strategy and build a scalable demand generation engine that drives pipeline growth, strengthens our market leadership, and supports long-term expansion across North America.

Role Overview

The Vice President of Marketing is responsible for leading InTime’s overall marketing strategy and execution, with a primary focus on pipeline generation, product positioning, strategic partnerships, market expansion, and brand leadership.

This role will build and scale a modern marketing organization capable of supporting InTime’s next phase of growth. The VP of Marketing will partner closely with Sales, Product, Customer Success, and Strategic Partnerships to align go-to-market strategy and drive measurable revenue outcomes.

Reporting to the executive leadership team, the VP of Marketing will own the company’s marketing-driven pipeline and will be responsible for building a high-performing team and marketing engine capable of supporting enterprise sales cycles within the government sector.

This is both a strategic leadership role and a hands-on position, requiring a marketing leader who can build long-term strategy while ensuring strong execution across campaigns and programs.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Strategy & Revenue Growth

  • Develop and execute InTime’s overall marketing strategy aligned with company growth objectives.
  • Own the company’s marketing-driven pipeline and demand generation engine, ensuring marketing contributes meaningfully to revenue growth.
  • Define and refine InTime’s market positioning, messaging, and category leadership within the GovTech and public safety markets.
  • Establish clear marketing performance metrics tied to pipeline generation, deal velocity, and revenue influence.

Product Marketing & Go-To-Market Strategy

  • Lead product marketing strategy, ensuring strong positioning, messaging, and differentiation for InTime’s platform.
  • Partner closely with Product and Sales leadership to develop go-to-market strategies for new features, product launches, and market expansions.
  • Develop clear value propositions and messaging that resonate with public safety leaders, government buyers, and enterprise stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain competitive intelligence, enabling Sales teams with insights, battlecards, and positioning against competitors.
  • Ensure strong alignment between product roadmap, marketing strategy, and customer needs.

Demand Generation & Pipeline Development

  • Build scalable demand generation programs across digital marketing, content, webinars, industry events, and advertising.
  • Lead and expand Account-Based Marketing (ABM) initiatives targeting enterprise and strategic government accounts.
  • Partner closely with Sales leadership to support pipeline development, account penetration, and opportunity acceleration.
  • Continuously optimize marketing funnel performance through data-driven campaign analysis and marketing operations.

Partnerships & Ecosystem Marketing

  • Develop and execute partner marketing strategies that strengthen InTime’s ecosystem of technology partners, integrators, and strategic alliances.
  • Collaborate with the Partnerships and Sales teams to create joint marketing programs, co-branded campaigns, and partner-driven pipeline opportunities.
  • Support partner enablement through joint events, webinars, and integrated go-to-market initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to expand market reach through strategic alliances within the broader public safety and GovTech ecosystem.

Brand & Market Presence

  • Elevate InTime’s brand positioning as a category leader in public safety workforce management software.
  • Oversee messaging, website strategy, thought leadership, and content development.
  • Lead InTime’s presence at key industry conferences, tradeshows, and customer events to strengthen relationships and increase market visibility.
  • Develop marketing initiatives that reinforce InTime’s reputation as a trusted partner in the public safety community.

Team Leadership & Organizational Development

  • Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing marketing team across demand generation, product marketing, brand, and marketing operations.
  • Develop processes, systems, and tools that enable the marketing organization to scale efficiently.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the marketing function.

Executive Leadership Collaboration

  • Partner with executive leadership to align marketing strategy with overall company objectives.
  • Provide regular reporting on pipeline contribution, marketing ROI, and market insights.
  • Collaborate with Product and Customer Success to ensure strong alignment across the entire customer lifecycle.

Qualifications

Experience

  • 10+ years of marketing leadership experience in B2B SaaS, enterprise software, or GovTech environments.
  • Proven track record building and scaling demand generation and pipeline growth programs.
  • Experience leading product marketing and go-to-market strategy for enterprise software platforms.
  • Experience leading Account-Based Marketing (ABM) strategies targeting complex enterprise buyers.
  • Experience supporting or building partner and ecosystem marketing programs is highly desirable.
  • Deep understanding of enterprise sales cycles, particularly in government or regulated industries.

Leadership & Strategic Skills

  • Experience building and leading high-performing marketing teams.
  • Strong collaboration with Sales leadership to drive pipeline creation and revenue growth.
  • Ability to translate market insights into clear go-to-market strategies.
  • Experience reporting marketing performance at the executive or board level.

Additional Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (MBA considered an asset).
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience marketing to government, public safety, or regulated industries is a strong advantage.
  • Willingness to travel as required for conferences, customer engagements, and industry events.

Candidates must be able to reliably commute to the Vancouver office or relocate prior to starting.

Pay: $150,000.00-$200,000.00 per year
