The VP will define strategic direction, lead innovation across full-funnel partnership ecosystems, and anticipate industry shifts driven by AI, privacy changes, and evolving search behaviors. This role combines visionary leadership with hands-on operational oversight, ensuring affiliate programs deliver measurable business impact. The position requires close collaboration with executive stakeholders and cross-functional media teams to build integrated performance strategies. It also involves guiding enterprise-level client relationships and driving long-term revenue growth. This is a remote-first role designed for a leader who thrives in fast-paced, data-driven, and highly collaborative environments.

Accountabilities:

  • Lead the strategic vision for the affiliate marketing practice, evolving it from traditional performance models into scalable, full-funnel partnership ecosystems.
  • Anticipate industry disruptions such as AI advancements, privacy regulations, and changes in search ecosystems to proactively adjust strategies.
  • Oversee high-value client relationships, ensuring affiliate strategies align with broader business objectives and long-term growth plans.
  • Partner with business development teams to support new client pitches and identify expansion opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Own departmental financial performance, including P&L oversight, margin optimization, and ROI achievement.
  • Drive cross-channel integration by aligning affiliate strategy with paid media, SEO, commerce, and influencer marketing teams.
  • Evaluate and implement advanced affiliate technologies and attribution solutions to ensure accurate tracking and data integrity.
  • Lead team development, mentoring senior and emerging talent while fostering a culture of accountability and innovation.
  • Requirements:

    • 15+ years of experience in digital marketing, including at least 10 years focused on affiliate or partnership marketing.
    • Minimum of 5 years in senior leadership roles managing teams and large-scale marketing programs.
    • Proven track record of scaling multi-million-dollar affiliate programs across multiple industries such as retail, B2C, or B2B.
    • Deep expertise in affiliate networks (e.g., Impact, CJ, Rakuten) and multi-touch attribution models.
    • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence C-suite stakeholders and translate complex data into strategic narratives.
    • Experience integrating affiliate marketing within broader omnichannel media strategies.
    • Strong leadership, mentoring, and organizational development capabilities.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA or equivalent experience preferred.
    • Benefits:

      • Competitive base salary ranging from $160,000 to $180,000, plus performance bonus of up to 25%
      • Fully remote work environment with flexible scheduling
      • Unlimited PTO plus 20 paid holidays, including extended long weekends
      • Comprehensive healthcare coverage (medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance)
      • Retirement plan with employer matching up to 4%
      • Wellness and lifestyle benefits including telemedicine, teletherapy, and additional wellness perks
      • Paid parental leave: 16 weeks for birthing parents and 12 weeks for partners
      • Learning and development programs, including mentorship and leadership training opportunities
      • Equity participation and additional performance-based incentives.
