This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Vice President, Quality Assurance & Regulatory Affairs in the United States.

This executive leadership role is responsible for defining and driving the global quality assurance and regulatory affairs strategy within a fast-growing consumer health and supplements organization. The position ensures full compliance with FDA regulations while safeguarding product integrity, consumer trust, and brand reputation across a highly regulated environment. You will lead enterprise-wide quality systems, regulatory frameworks, and governance models that support innovation, speed to market, and sustained business growth. Acting as a key member of the leadership team, you will influence strategic decisions, partner with cross-functional executives, and ensure alignment between quality, regulatory, and commercial objectives. The role requires deep expertise in dietary supplement regulations and a strong ability to lead high-performing teams in a dynamic, fast-paced industry. It is both a strategic and hands-on leadership position with significant impact on product safety, compliance, and business success.

Accountabilities:

  • Lead the overall Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements across all product categories.
  • Oversee development and implementation of quality management systems in compliance with FDA regulations (21 CFR Part 101, 110, 111, 117) and industry best practices.
  • Serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, providing guidance on quality, compliance, and regulatory risk across strategic initiatives.
  • Partner with Product, Supply Chain, R&D, and other functions to ensure end-to-end regulatory compliance and timely product delivery.
  • Lead, build, and scale high-performing QA/RA teams while fostering a strong culture of quality and accountability.
  • Manage regulatory inspections, audits, and external agency interactions, ensuring readiness and effective response management.
  • Oversee supplier qualification programs, quality agreements, and ongoing supplier performance monitoring.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using data, metrics, root cause analysis, and CAPA processes.
  • Support innovation and product development by embedding quality and compliance into early-stage design and commercialization.
  • Engage in external regulatory and industry advocacy to support business growth and compliance positioning.
  • Requirements:

    • 15–20+ years of progressive leadership experience in Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs within FDA-regulated industries.
    • Strong dietary supplement industry experience, including deep knowledge of 21 CFR Part 111 and GMP requirements.
    • Proven experience in gummy supplement manufacturing and quality operations is required.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Food Science, or related scientific field; advanced degree strongly preferred.
    • Extensive experience leading regulatory audits, inspections, and compliance remediation processes.
    • Strong expertise in quality systems development, regulatory frameworks, and compliance governance.
    • Demonstrated ability to lead and scale large, high-performing QA/RA organizations.
    • Strong strategic thinking, analytical capabilities, and problem-solving skills in complex environments.
    • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to drive a culture of quality across all levels.
    • Experience working cross-functionally in fast-paced, growth-oriented organizations.
