The Opportunity

We’re looking for a Visual Designer to help drive the PicnicHealth brand forward. As a core member of our Design Team, you will work closely with the product marketing teams, and external partners to create visual assets that delight patients and life science customers. You will own the visual design for the website, social, application, and other digital properties. You will be responsible for the creative design, direction, and execution of marketing assets, company collateral, and executive presentations. You will be creating visuals, infographics, and illustrations used for customer activation. In this founding role, you’ll get to raise the bar for visual design at PicnicHealth and see your vision play out across the company. 

As a Visual Designer, you will be responsible for:

• Partner with product marketing teams, develop and execute on marketing design strategies; brainstorm new, novel experiences beyond what is expected. 
• Produce a wide range of high-quality assets, including landing page mockups, social media creative, content marketing assets, email templates, event experiences, and more.
• Create a seamless, consistent visual design across all channels and align them with PicnicHealth’s brand identity.
• Deliver strong visual design that builds the audience's trust.
• Effectively communicate design decisions with creative, strategic, and business reasonings

You are a strong candidate if you have:

• 3+ years of visual design experience;
• Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Figma/Sketch
• An outstanding portfolio, showcasing a strong sense of storytelling, composition, layouts, typography, motion, and colors;
• Experience owning and executing marketing design strategies to tell compelling product stories and engate key personas;
• Comfort working independently in a start-up environment, where speed, flexibility, and experimentation are part of the day-to-day culture.
• Motion Design skills (a plus)
• HTML & CSS expertise (a plus)
• Passion about improving the lives of patients and making a difference in improving healthcare outcomes.
