About the Role & the Team
The Business Operations & Strategy team helps the company monitor performance, understand key business drivers and make data driven decisions to optimize operations and accelerate growth. This team fully embeds alongside the business, working directly with the exec team, sales leadership, clinical operations, finance, product, and other departments across the company on a mixture of strategic and operational initiatives. The VP of Business Operations & Strategy will oversee the team that drives transformational change across the organization through identifying growth levers and unlocking operational inefficiencies and bottlenecks. This role will entail setting the agenda for the team, creating standards & templates for the broader company to leverage, and also coordinating cross functional key strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and lead strategic analysis to answer key business questions, continually improve processes and optimize core business operations across all departments and levels of the company
- Serve as the integration point for complex, enterprise wide initiatives
- Support the company wide OKR process and establish regular performance and alignment review cadences to ensure continual progress toward achieving goals
- Drive transformational change across the organization through identifying growth levers and unlocking bottlenecks
- Lead a team of analysts that support key operational functions
- Develop and grow people both on the team and throughout the company through coaching and mentoring
- Support a company culture is obsessed with leveraging data to inform, guide, and support business decisions
Qualifications:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all functions and levels throughout the organization
- Experience leading a rapidly growing team with a servant leadership approach
- Action oriented and entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate in an agile manner
- Healthcare experience preferred (Tech, Services, Insurance, Consulting)
- Operating or analytics experience at a high growth company preferred
- Proficient in analytics reporting tools preferred(SQL, Tableau, Looker, or PowerBI)
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required, MBA preferred
- 10+ years of analytics, strategy and operating experience, preferably either in directly comparable roles or consulting or Private Equity
- Ability to balance many initiatives with differing requirements and expectations
