  • Drive the development of mobile applications and scalable multi-tenant architecture to support future growth.
  • Establish engineering best practices, software development standards, and a high-performance engineering culture.
  • Lead cloud architecture, security initiatives, and compliance efforts, including HIPAA security requirements and SOC 2 readiness.
  • Introduce AI-powered product capabilities by integrating leading AI technologies into customer-facing workflows.
  • Build the foundation for scalable analytics and data capabilities to support business intelligence and product innovation.
  • Mentor, develop, and expand the engineering organization while serving as a hands-on technical leader.
  • Partner with executive leadership, customers, auditors, and board members to communicate technology strategy, roadmap, and business impact.
  • Requirements

    • 8+ years of software engineering experience, including at least 4 years leading engineering teams at the Director, Senior Manager, or equivalent level.
    • Strong hands-on expertise with the Microsoft .NET ecosystem and modern software architecture.
    • Experience developing modern front-end applications using React, Vue, or Angular.
    • Proven success leading large-scale platform modernization or technical transformation initiatives.
    • Experience working within healthcare technology, digital health, EHR/EMR platforms, or other HIPAA-regulated environments.
    • Experience delivering AI-powered product features through LLM or third-party AI integrations.
    • Strong understanding of cloud technologies, application security, and software compliance best practices.
    • Ability to balance strategic technology leadership with hands-on software development, particularly during periods of rapid growth.
    • Strong business acumen with experience presenting technology strategies, budgets, and roadmaps to executive leadership and boards.
    • Experience with Azure, SOC 2 compliance, pediatric therapy software, revenue cycle management, or private equity-backed SaaS organizations is considered a strong advantage.
    • Benefits

      • Competitive on-target earnings of $225,000–$275,000 annually.
      • Equity participation opportunity.
      • Fully remote position within the United States.
      • Clear career progression to Chief Technology Officer (CTO).
      • Opportunity to shape the engineering organization from the ground up.
      • Significant ownership over technology strategy, architecture, hiring, and product innovation.
      • Access to modern AI development tools and cutting-edge technologies.
      • Collaborative, low-bureaucracy environment with direct executive and board-level visibility.
      • Opportunity to build technology that improves healthcare delivery and clinician productivity.
      • Travel to the southeastern United States during the initial onboarding period, with approximately 20% travel thereafter.
