Our Marketing team is seeking a VP, Marketing for developing and executing upon a well-defined marketing strategy that supports the strategic initiatives of SilkRoad.
Your contributions to SilkRoad will include:
- Developing and overseeing the overall marketing strategy by providing direction and expertise in all functional areas.
- Managing and driving innovation in the company's marketing activities, including but not limited to messaging, product positioning, campaigns, and webinars.
- Establishing strategic vision of the website and directing the development of design, structure, navigation, and content to ensure proper and consistent communication of brand image and drive/maximize sales opportunities.
- Overseeing comprehensive social media marketing strategy and content creation.
- Partnering with the Senior Leadership Team to identify areas of opportunity for marketing initiatives to make the greatest impact
- Overseeing demand generation activity ensuring quality pipeline growth and measurable outcomes.
- Managing department planning and budgets
- Conceptualizing, guiding and supporting marketing events.
Required Skills
- Takes on new opportunities and challenges with a sense of urgency and enthusiasm.
- Collaborative across multiple levels in the organization.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Proficient in digital marketing best practices with the ability to look at new and disruptive approaches to improve company's growth.
- Demonstrated understanding of industry trends and end-user purchasing behavior.
- Proficient with computer software and MS Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
Required Experience
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business or related field OR relevant work experience is required.
- Minimum of 12 years of experience in marketing in a B2B SaaS company is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of marketing leadership experience.
- Advanced proficiency with Salesforce.
- Proficiency with B2B marketing automation software (Pardot, Hubspot, etc.).
- Experience working in the HCM industry is required.
