We seek a VP of Marketing to join our virtual team and lead our next phase of scaling. Are you a seasoned marketing executive who has led successful marketing teams to build and grow category-defining consumer and marketplace brands? You will own the success of helping good people be their most generous selves, and nonprofits maximize giving to fund their vision. 

This role presents an amazing opportunity to drive growth using world-class marketing strategy and processes. You will join the Givelify executive leadership team delivering compelling marketing programs and content to acquire new donors, organizations and grow philanthropy.   

You'll get to:

  • Lead five critical teams including brand, growth, product marketing, content, and customer marketing across the consumer, B2B, and marketplace funnels 
  • Manage all aspects of Givelify’s brand positioning through the development & execution of marketing strategies across the consumer, B2B, and marketplace funnels 
  • Own the growth results attributed to all marketing campaigns, advertising, product go-to market tactics, field marketing activities and special projects 
  • Own the growth results of demand generation activities including SEO, SEM, SMM, ASO, website optimization, social media, print collateral, and conference attendance  
  • Plan & oversee programs that optimize social media recognition/reputation and email marketing effectiveness  
  • Partner with VP of Customer Success to develop and execute successful customer retention initiatives  
  • Partner with VP of Strategic Partnerships to ensure successful execution of conferences and other field activities  
  • Partner with VP of People & Culture to develop & execute successful employer brand initiatives that attract & engage diverse talent to effectively scale for growth  
  • Lead the marketing team in support of cross-functional team objectives managing weekly performance metrics, continuous feedback, time off requests, and overall team accountability  
  • Guide & mentor, the marketing team in developing specialized skill sets while nurturing a learning and human-centric creative environment  
  • Ensure compliance and quality standards across all marketing and communication channels  
  • Develop and manage marketing operating budgets and forecasts  
  • Develop, manage, and provide on-going analytics through KPI dashboards and constantly monitor data from marketing activities, adjusting strategies and plans based on outcomes  
  • Lead quarterly OKR development and retrospective reporting of marketing activities to ensure alignment with goals and forecasts  
  • Foster & model Givelify’s 4 Keys of Integrity, Heart, Simplicity, & WOW 

You should bring mad skills & experience:

  • 7+ years senior management marketing role in consumer and marketplace brands with $50 Million or more in revenue  
  • Experience working with consumer mobile apps is a must
  • Experience in high-growth mobile app-centric FinTech, AI, or other relevant marketplace software brand 
  • Tenured leadership experience in dual customer models (B2B & B2C)
  • Master’s degree or higher in Marketing or equivalent education  
  • Experience working in a formalized agile setting  
  • Proven success in building, developing, and engaging inclusive marketing teams  
  • Knowledge & proficiency in our Marketing tech stack including CRM and Automation: Salesforce, Pardot, Campaign Monitor, Sprout Social, ZenDesk.  Collaboration: Asana, Slack, Google Analytics (GA), Google Tag Manager (GTM), Moz, AppFollow, CleverTap, Tableau
  • Curious, creative, and entrepreneurial with the courage to champion bold ideas  
  • Data-driven, highly analytical decision-maker able to think strategically and drive results  
  • Passion for leading and mentoring inclusive teams; a natural leader who inspires confidence and goal-orientation  
  • Master communicator with a superior degree of emotional intelligence adept at fostering collaboration and problem-solving  
  • Experience working with key-influencers in faith-based or non-profit sector  
  • Highly motivated to scale a rapid-growth company with experience in early- to later-stage company development
