This role offers the opportunity to lead a high-growth wealth services division, shaping the end-to-end strategy for SME savings, deposits, and investment solutions. You will hold full P&L accountability while driving product innovation, commercial growth, and operational excellence. The position requires building and mentoring a multidisciplinary team, scaling operations, and delivering a seamless, trusted financial experience for SMEs. You will influence strategy across product development, go-to-market, and international expansion, collaborating closely with engineering, marketing, finance, and regulatory functions. This is a senior leadership role ideal for a commercially astute, customer-focused professional passionate about transforming SME financial wellbeing.
Accountabilities
- Define and execute the long-term strategy and operating model for wealth services, including savings, deposits, and investment offerings.
- Own full P&L accountability, driving growth in deposits, assets under management, revenue, and profitability.
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing, multidisciplinary team across product, commercial, operations, and go-to-market functions.
- Lead the full product lifecycle, ensuring regulatory compliance, operational excellence, and seamless customer experiences.
- Develop and implement go-to-market, pricing, and monetisation strategies, including partnerships with financial institutions and service providers.
- Scale operations efficiently, implementing robust processes for onboarding, servicing, treasury management, and customer support.
- Drive international expansion, tailoring products and operations to local markets, regulations, and customer needs.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, marketing, finance, risk, legal, and central teams to execute strategic priorities.
- Leverage data analytics, experimentation, and customer insights to guide decision-making and optimise product performance.
- Proven leadership experience in high-growth organisations, ideally within fintech, banking, or wealth management.
- Deep domain expertise in SME-focused savings, deposits, treasury-linked products, or investment solutions.
- Strong track record of scaling a business or product line, ideally with full P&L responsibility.
- Exceptional product leadership skills across discovery, build, launch, and optimisation phases.
- Commercial acumen, with experience in pricing, revenue modelling, partnerships, and monetisation strategies.
- Highly analytical, comfortable using data and metrics to inform strategy and prioritisation.
- Outstanding stakeholder management and communication skills, able to influence executives and teams.
- Demonstrated ability to build and mentor high-performing teams in a dynamic, fast-scaling environment.
- Innovative and customer-obsessed, with a bias for execution, resilience, and continuous improvement.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
