Web Developer & SEO Specialist

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Web Developer & SEO Specialist based in Brazil.

This is an exciting opportunity to take full ownership of a company's web presence, transforming a new website into a high-performing, conversion-focused digital asset. You will combine technical web development expertise with advanced SEO strategies to drive organic growth, improve user experience, and generate measurable business results. Working as a key member of a collaborative marketing team, you'll lead website development, technical optimization, and local search initiatives while continuously testing and refining performance. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building from the ground up, making data-driven decisions, and delivering meaningful impact in a fast-paced, fully remote environment.

• Build, launch, and maintain a responsive, high-performance website from approved design mockups, taking full ownership of its ongoing development and optimization.
• Create and manage practice area pages, landing pages, blog templates, and other CMS content while ensuring a seamless user experience across all devices.
• Continuously improve website speed, accessibility, security, Core Web Vitals, and technical SEO performance.
• Own technical SEO initiatives, including site architecture, internal linking, crawlability, indexation, redirects, XML sitemaps, and structured data implementation.
• Conduct keyword research focused on high-intent search opportunities and collaborate with the marketing team to optimize on-page content following E-E-A-T and YMYL best practices.
• Manage local SEO initiatives, including Google Business Profile optimization, local citations, and location pages to maximize local search visibility.
• Support link-building and digital PR efforts to strengthen domain authority in competitive markets.
• Run conversion rate optimization (CRO) experiments, improving forms, call paths, and user journeys to increase lead generation.
• Monitor website performance using GA4, Google Search Console, rank tracking, and lead analytics, translating insights into actionable growth strategies.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience combining website development and SEO in either an agency or in-house environment.
• Proven expertise building modern, responsive, conversion-focused websites using Webflow or WordPress.
• Strong knowledge of technical SEO, on-page SEO, local SEO, and website optimization best practices.
• Demonstrated ability to independently manage complete website launches, migrations, and ongoing maintenance.
• Experience with Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, and SEO performance tracking tools.
• Excellent project management, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to balance technical implementation with user experience and conversion optimization goals.
• Experience working with U.S.-based clients or organizations is an advantage.
• Experience in legal marketing, competitive local service industries, legal CRMs, call-tracking platforms, or basic HTML/CSS/JavaScript is considered a plus.
