Wire EDM Set Up & Operations Specialist

Role As a Wire EDM Set-Up & Operations Specialist (also known as Precision Machining Specialist, EDM Technician), you'll play a pivotal role in delivering precision-machined components that exceed quality standards and customer expectations. You'll set up, operate, and maintain Wire EDM equipment to produce intricate parts, drive continuous improvement, and support the company’s objective of lights-out manufacturing. High School Diploma Minimum. • Strong understanding of NC Code Mitsubishi EDM or similar machine controls. • Proficiency in GD&T, Quality Inspection, Continuous Improvement, CNC Tooling, Troubleshooting Skills, ISO 13485, CNC Programming, AS9100, G-Code, Tolerance Analysis, M-Code, Troubleshooting CNC Machines, Manual Machining Skills, Tool/Die/Mold Repair Skills, Root Cause Analysis, Blueprint Reading. • Experience with EDM Machine (Sinker) (Makino), 3D Modeling (Solidworks), 2D Drawings (Solidworks, AutoCAD), EDM Machine (Wire) (Mitsubishi, Fanuc), EDM Drilling Machine.
