Women's Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP-BC)

NYMD Center is seeking an experienced and dedicated Women's Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP-BC) to join our growing women's health practice. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing comprehensive gynecologic and preventive care to women in an outpatient setting.

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive women's health evaluations and annual well-woman examinations.
Diagnose and manage acute and chronic gynecologic conditions.
Provide contraception counseling and family planning services.
Evaluate and treat menopause-related conditions.
Order, interpret, and review laboratory and diagnostic tests.
Educate patients regarding treatment options, preventive care, and healthy lifestyle choices.
Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records.
Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

Master's or Doctoral Degree from an accredited Women's Health Nurse Practitioner program.
Current New York State Nurse Practitioner license.
Current Women's Health Nurse Practitioner Board Certification (WHNP-BC) required.
DEA registration (or eligibility to obtain).
Minimum of 2 years of women's health or gynecology experience preferred.
Excellent clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Requirements

Only candidates certified as Women's Health Nurse Practitioners (WHNP-BC) will be considered. Family Nurse Practitioners (FNP), Adult Nurse Practitioners (ANP), and other NP specialties are not eligible for this position.
