This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Workday Integrations Principal Consultant based in India.
This role is a senior, client-facing consulting position focused on delivering high-impact Workday integration solutions across complex enterprise environments. You will act as a lead advisor across multiple engagements, guiding clients through design, implementation, and post-production support of Workday Integrations. The position requires strong technical depth in Workday ecosystems, combined with the ability to translate business requirements into scalable integration solutions. You will work closely with US-based teams and enterprise clients to ensure seamless delivery and optimization of Workday investments. The role blends hands-on integration expertise with advisory responsibilities, including troubleshooting, reporting, and security considerations. It also offers the opportunity to influence best practices and contribute to the growth of a modern Workday consulting practice.
Accountabilities:
Lead end-to-end Workday integration engagements, ensuring successful design, deployment, and support across multiple client environments.
- Serve as lead consultant across multiple Workday integration projects, acting as a key individual contributor
- Translate client requirements into integration designs, configurations, prototypes, and production-ready solutions
- Support post-go-live activities, including troubleshooting integrations, security configurations, and reporting needs
- Collaborate with internal teams and client stakeholders to ensure alignment, transparency, and successful delivery
- Assist with forecasting, engagement tracking, and project reporting in a timely and accurate manner
- Support pre-sales activities such as demos, solutioning, and effort estimation
- Stay current with Workday updates, enhancements, and integration best practices to guide client solutions
- Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience as a lead Workday Integrations Consultant within a Workday partner environment
- Strong expertise in Workday Integrations, including design, development, and production support
- Workday Integrations certification is required; Studio certification is preferred
- Solid understanding of Workday reporting, security frameworks, and best practices
- Experience working with higher education or US government clients is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with global (US-based) teams
- Ability to manage multiple client engagements in a fast-paced consulting environment
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and ownership mindset
- Ability to work independently as a senior individual contributor
