As a Technology Engineer Sr within PNCs Virtualization Engineering team you will be based in Pittsburgh PA Cleveland OH Birmingham AL Phoenix AZ or Dallas TX The position is primarily based in a PNC location Responsibilities require time in the office on a regular basis Extensive experience in VMware Cisco UCS and Pure preferred Proven experience in infrastructure management and deployment within a large enterprise or financial institution environment Indepth knowledge of virtualization technologies specifically VMware vSphere and related tools Experience with storage area networks SAN storage management principles zoning and data security best practices Experience with infrastructure automation tools and scripting languages eg Python PowerShell Working understanding of network protocols and concepts including TCPIP firewalls routing and VLANs Strong understanding of IT security principles and compliance frameworks relevant to the financial services industry eg PCI DSS HIPAA Experience with IT service management ITSM and change control methodologies like ITIL Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to translate technical concepts to nontechnical
