designing implementing and maintaining Almas technology infrastructure In this role you will build services and tools that solve real problems for Almas engineering team The ideal candidate can recognize that successful software development requires communication experimentation and iteration <p> <p> As a member of the Developer Experience team you will have a strong hand in defining and refining the underlying systems with which Almas engineering team executes and delivers software including deploy pipelines testing frameworks and our observability stack The ideal person for this role loves to work with other teams to design and build amazing systems <p> <p> <strong> What youll do <strong> <p> <ul> <li> <p> Design develop and implement systems processes and tools to improve the experience and efficiency of the engineering teams development process Developers environment testing environment deployment pipeline <p> <li> <li> <p> Collaborate with teammates on Platform as well as PMs and peers from feature teams to understand and prioritize solutions for practical problems facing Alma engineers <p> <li> <li> <p> Work to maintain simplify and reinvent the systems underlying the application platform such as our developer environment observability tooling event tracking error handling and application performance management testing frameworks unit tests integration test e2e and deploy pipelines encompasses build test and release phases of the SDLC <p> <li> <li> <p> Work towards maintaining and improving site reliability as our application scales <p> <li> <li> <p> Continually research current and emerging technologies proposing changes where most impactful <p> <li> <li> <p> Provide highquality documentation and training to set engineers up for success <p> <li> <li> <p> Ensure applications and services meet Almas standards for software including performance scalability and security <p> <li> <ul> <p> <strong> Who you are <strong> <p> <ul> <li> <p> You have 4+ years of experience working with web technologies frameworks and AWS related technologies <p> <li> <li> <p> You have extensive experience with web technologies We are language agnostic in our interviews but require experience with one or more common web frameworks <p> <li> <li> <p> You have experience maintaining simplifying and reinventing the systems underlying the applications platform such as job queues caching layers error handling monitoring and alerting <p> <li> <li> <p> You have worked with scaling challenges in previous roles and have implemented best practices around scaling <p> <li> <li> <p> You have a strong testing philosophy with abundant experience in writing different types of tests <p> <li> <li> <p> Youre a systems thinker concerned not only with individual component parts but with how those parts work together holistically <p> <li> <li> <p> Youre pragmatic recognizing that while there are multiple approaches to solving a problem it
