Kong Paris Shanghai and Tokyo Were looking for an Accounts Receivable Clerk Credit amp Billing to join our team to play a crucial role in the financial operations of our organization by ensuring accurate and timely credit memos billing and invoicing processes This role involves collaborating with various departments to gather information generate invoices and manage billing and credit records The Accounts Receivable Clerk is responsible for maintaining meticulous attention to detail adhering to credit and billing procedures as well as providing excellent customer service to clients This role reports to the Controller and will work onsite in our Santa Ana CA office What Youll Do <ul><li>Invoice and Credit Memo Generation<li> <ul><li>Create and generate accurate invoices and credit memos based on services rendered products sold or contractual agreements<li> <li>Verify billing information such as quantities rates and discounts to ensure accuracy<li> <li>Collaborate with relevant departments to gather necessary information for invoicing<li> <ul><li>Data Entry and Record Keeping<li> <ul><li>Enter billing data into the accounting system accurately and promptly<li> <li>Maintain organized and uptodate billing records for easy retrieval and auditing<li> <li>Monitor and track outstanding invoices ensuring timely followup and resolution<li> <ul><li>Billing Documentation<li> <ul><li>Prepare supporting documentation such as contracts purchase orders and delivery receipts to accompany invoices<li> <li>Attach any relevant backup information to invoices as required by clients or internal policies<li> <ul><li>Customer Communication<li> <ul><li>Respond to billing inquiries from clients and internal stakeholders professionally and promptly<li> <li>Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any billing discrepancies or concerns<li> <ul><li>Reports and Analysis<li> <ul><li>Generate regular reports on billing activity outstanding balances and payment trends<li> <li>Collaborate with the finance team to analyze data and identify areas for process improvement<li> <ul><li>Compliance and Regulations<li> <ul><li>Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies in all billing and credit activities<li> <li>Stay updated on relevant industry regulations and standards affecting billing and credit procedures<li> <ul><li>Collaborate with departments such as sales customer service and operations to resolve credit and billingrelated issues<li> <li>Assist with monthend and yearend closing procedures as needed<li> <ul>Who You Are <ul><li>1+ years of proven experience as a billing clerk or similar role demonstrating proficiency in billing processes<li> <li>Strong numerical and data entry skills with high attention to detail<li> <li>Familiarity with accounting software Dynamics Nav and Netsuite along with Google Suite Microsoft Suite particularly Excel<li> <li>Excellent communication skills both written and verbal for effective interaction with clients and colleagues<li> <li>Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and maintain professionalism<li> <li>Strong organizational and timemanagement skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines<li> <li>Problemsolving skills to resolve billing discrepancies and issues<li> <li>Knowledge of relevant legal and regulatory requirements for billing<li> <li>High school diploma or equivalent required additional education in accounting or finance is a plus<li> <ul>Hourly Range The hourly range for this position is $23$27 Actual compensation
