Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Manages claim billing and collections and team of Reimbursement and Billing Specialists Creates and assigns quarterly and annual targets for reimbursement department Creates reimbursement reports in HubSpot to measure reimbursement trending issues and tracks KPI’s Responsible for performing collections and billing responsibilities as needed Conducts weekly Reimbursement team meetings Performs weekly 1-1 meetings with direct reports Creates pivot tables, charts and analytic reports to review state of the claims pipeline Provides on-going performance feedback, addresses problems, determines staffing needs, interviews and hires staff, orients and trains employees, verifies competency and identifies and suggests ways to develop skills Performs quarterly and annual reviews for the Reimbursement team Implements improvement process for trending issues in claim rejects/denials Improves workflows related to claim lifecycle, billing, and payment posting Communicates policy and procedure changes to staff Provides excellent internal and external customer service Performs other duties as assigned Qualifications Education & Experience: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience 2 - 3 years experience in collections and billing required 1 – 2 years supervisory experience, preferred Experience working with CRMs such as HubSpot to analyze, pull reports and identify trends, issues, and opportunities Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Effective people and process manager Attention to detail, organization, problem solving skills, persistence Knowledge of Medicare & Medicaid regulations Strong analytical, troubleshooting and communication skills Advanced experience with Excel, with the ability to create and analyze pivot tables Additional Information Work Environment & Physical Demands:Incumbent works from home and is expected to maintain a safe, productive work environment with secure internet access.
