<p> <p><b>Position Purpose <b> <p> <p><b>Primary Responsibilities<b> <p> <ul><li>Research analyze and conclude on new accounting reporting and disclosure standards issued by the FASB and SEC and prepare memorandums including supportive literature impact on the Company and conclusion<li> <li>Evaluate transactions research as needed to provide recommendations and implement appropriate accounting and business solutions Must be able to collaborate effectively with key partners to implement systems business controls and processesprocedures to achieve objectives<li> <li>Prepare financial reports review and analyze financial information and maintain accounting data in appropriate ledgers and journals<li> <li>Drive development of financial system improvements to eliminate manual processes and improve financial controls<li> <li>Support external and internal auditors during quarterly reviews and audits<li> <ul><p><b>Key Performance Indicators<b> <p> <ul><li>Ensures compliance with SEC GAAP and other legal and regulatory requirements<li> <li>Identifies and helps to implement system process and cost improvements<li> <li>Effectively multitasks and prioritize work assignments to ensure timely completion with high quality including monthly quarterly and yearend close deliverables<li> <ul><p><b>Position Requirements <b> <p> <ul><li>Active CPA required<li> <li>Requires 47 years of accounting experience<li> <li>Strong understanding of GAAP required SEC reporting experience preferred<li> <li>Bachelors degree in Accounting<li> <li>Proven record of driving process improvements and development of personnel<li> <ul><p><b>Knowledge Skills amp Abilities <b> <p> <ul><li>Strong working knowledge of Microsoft office programs advanced in Excel Oracle and Workiva experience preferred<li> <li>Proactive decision making and strong communication skills written oral presentation and interpersonal skills<li> <li>Ability to work autonomously with all levels
