Account Administrator

SUMMARY:

Provide customer service to internal and external customers. Support a team of Account Managers as well as answer customer inquiries, process service requests and coordinate renewal paperwork.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Obtain and review applications.
• Prepare and submit customer requests (i.e. endorsements, certificates and loss runs).
• Support the renewal process by gathering forms and obtain missing information.
• Assist customers with basic questions about their policies.
• Send coverage updates to customers and follow up to ensure forms are returned.
• Prepare and mail follow up letters to customers.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Associate's degree or equivalent education and/or experience required.
• General understanding of commercial property and casualty coverages preferred.
• General understanding of commercial rating concepts.
• Demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize heavy workloads to meet time sensitive deadlines.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Outlook) or similar software applications.
• Ability to communicate professionally with internal and external clients.
