As a controller of Gulshan Enterprises, Inc and its subsidiaries (Part of Dhanani Group entities) you will play a key role in overseeing the financial operations and guiding strategic decision-making. You will utilize your expertise in grocery store software to optimize processes and enhance financial performance. Your responsibilities will include financial reporting, analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. HERE’S WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING: As an integral member of the Team, this position is responsible for: · Oversee all financial operations, including financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting · Implement and maintain grocery store software systems to streamline processes and improve efficiency · Analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations for strategic decision-making · Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies · Develop and monitor financial controls to safeguard assets and minimize risks · Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives and drive growth · Provide leadership and guidance to finance and accounting staff HERE’S WHAT Education & Experience YOU WILL NEED: · Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field; CPA preferred · Good knowledge of PDI, grocery / gas inventory and accounting software is preferred with no less than 5 years of experience overseeing multiple locations · Expertise in grocery store software systems, such as inventory management and point-of-sale software · Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards · Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills · Ability to effectively communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders · Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and integrity · Strong leadership and management skills The Company reserves the right to conduct a background check of its employees, and your employment may be conditioned on satisfactory results.
