Customer Care Specialist - EDI Experience

Job Title:Customer Care Representative Job Type:Full-Time |On-Site M-F 7am-3:30pm Pay Rate:$19.00 – $21.00 per hour (DOE) Location:Vernon, CA About the Role A fast-paced and inclusive cosmetics company is seeking a highly motivated, customer-focusedCustomer Care Representativeto join our growing Customer Experience team. This role will serve as the primary liaison for assigned retail customer accounts, managing the full order lifecycle from entry to invoicing. You will ensure high order fulfillment, accuracy, and communication across departments to support an exceptional customer experience. Key Responsibilities • Serve as the main point of contact for assigned retail accounts • Review and correct customer purchase orders prior to ERP entry • Process orders accurately using ERP (Sage) and EDI systems • Generate and manage pick sheets, shipping labels, and documents based on customer and internal guidelines • Coordinate with warehouse and third-party packers to meet critical shipping timelines • Schedule carrier pickups in line with account procedures • Maintain a 95%+ Unit Fill Rate (UFR) by proactively identifying and resolving issues • Review pick sheets for shorts and generate required reports • Communicate delays or issues with customers and internal stakeholders • Process invoices, resolve invoice discrepancies, and transmit EDI files • Handle customer complaints and inquiries with professionalism and care • Process return authorizations and credit memos as needed • Stay informed about the full product line to support account questions • Perform other customer service duties as assigned Qualifications • High School Diploma or GED required • Previous customer service experience, preferably with retail accounts or consumer goods • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook • Experience with ERP and EDI systems (Sage ERP experience preferred) • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Strong attention to detail and organizational ability • Proactive problem-solver with a positive, team-oriented attitude • High level of integrity and a reliable work ethic Benefits • Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance • 401(k) Retirement Plan • Life Insurance (Basic, Voluntary & AD&D) • Paid Time Off (Vacation, Sick, Floating Holidays, and Public Holidays) • Family Leave and PDL Salary Continuation • Short-Term & Long-Term Disability • Training & Professional Development • Dog-Friendly Office Environment #COR1 Job Types: Full-time, Contract Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour Benefits: • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Work from home Application Question(s): • Are you able to work M-F 7am-3:30pm? • This rate is budgeted for $19-$21 per/hr.
