Data Analyst

Job Location: 1608 Laverne Mitchell ST, Leander, TX 78641 Job Duties • Perform large-scale data migration by extracting, transforming, and loading (ETL) information from legacy systems into new platforms using Informatica IDMC and SQL, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with business requirements. • Conduct in-depth data analysis on high-volume datasets to identify key trends, patterns, and anomalies using SQL queries, Excel pivot tables, and Power BI visualizations to generate insights that support child welfare and operational decision-making. • Carry out data profiling with Informatica IDQ to assess completeness, accuracy, and validity of incoming data while documenting issues such as duplicate entries, missing values, or inconsistent formats. • Identify and resolve data issues by applying cleansing rules in Informatica IDQ and reconciling mismatches through advanced SQL validation queries to ensure reliable and governed datasets. • Develop and maintain data models that represent relationships between business entities such as customers, products, and transactions, serving as blueprints for data warehouse structures and reporting. • Apply data warehouse concepts by consolidating data from multiple systems into centralized repositories using schema designs such as star and snowflake models to optimize storage and enable efficient business intelligence reporting. • Write, test, and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and validation, improving performance for high-volume operations and accelerating reporting timelines. • Use Informatica CDI to integrate customer information from multiple sources into a unified view, eliminating duplicate profiles and ensuring a consistent 360-degree customer record. • Implement Informatica MDM to manage critical business data by creating golden records, enforcing governance policies, and maintaining trusted master data for customers, products, and vendors. • Apply Informatica RFM to standardize reference codes such as product IDs, region codes, and location values, ensuring uniformity across all integrated systems and reporting platforms. • Build and maintain data quality scorecards in Informatica IDQ to monitor and continuously improve data health, providing stakeholders with dashboards and reports on data quality metrics. • Automate data pipelines using Informatica IDMC to integrate on-premises databases with cloud environments, ensuring secure, timely, and seamless data flow across hybrid systems. All the responsibilities mentioned above are in line with the professional background and requires an absolute minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer information systems, information technology, or a combination of education and experience equating to the U.S. equivalent of a Bachelor’s degree in one of the aforementioned subjects.
