Position Summary:

TEPEZZA® (teprotumumab-trbw) is the first and only FDA-approved treatment for Thyroid Eye Disease. With a highly attuned patient base, consumer marketing is one of the key pillars in driving the brand's success. This role provides an exciting opportunity to help the team stimulate the Thyroid Eye Disease market. The Director, Consumer Marketing will strategically assess in-market program impact and recommend strategic solutions to accelerate and grow the business. This role will analyze digital metrics and consumer media inputs to help understand implications of leading indicators and provide recommendations to optimize consumer/patient strategy and tactical plans. This individual must also maintain a high level of collaboration and integration with critical teams, including HCP Marketing, Payer Marketing, Commercial Analytics, and Market Research teams to drive integrated strategic recommendations.

Responsibilities:
  • Gain a deep understanding of:
    • Thyroid Eye Disease (TED) and treating physicians
    • TEPEZZA clinical data
    • The unique characteristics of TED patients, including attitudes, behaviors, barriers, and drivers across the patient journey
  • Synthesize TEPEZZA digital metrics and media data to determine implications for leading indicators of patient demand
  • Manage ongoing consumer KPIs and measurement plans in partnership with the Commercial Analytics team
  • Interpret data to provide a clear picture of the inferred reasons behind increased or decreased patient demand for Horizon senior leadership, including managing weekly, monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc reports
  • Lead analytics research efforts to understand the relative value of various key actions on branded & unbranded website properties
  • Work with the Director, Patient & Consumer Marketing to refine the overarching consumer strategies and continually optimize the consumer tactical execution
  • Partner with the HCP and Payer Marketing teams to ensure alignment of strategies and priorities
  • Track market research initiatives in partnership with the Market Research team to identify new tactics or channels to drive patient demand
  • Lead new programs to drive consumer activation, which may include initiatives such as Look-Alike modeling and patient events
  • Foster strong partnerships with multiple teams, including: HCP Marketing, Payer Marketing, Commercial Analytics, Market Research, and Regulatory/Legal/Medical


Qualifications and Skills Required:
  • BA/BS degree required, MBA a plus
  • 10+ years of marketing experience required; agency applicants welcome
  • 5+ years consumer marketing experience; some HCP marketing experience a plus
  • 5+ years pharmaceutical and/or biotech industry experience
  • Proven ability to find insights in analytics data and effectively apply these to optimize campaigns
  • Experience working within Google Analytics and/or experience with Tableau, Power-BI, or other measurement tools a plus
  • Experience integrating data systems and managing Business Requirements
  • Strong team player with demonstrated success as a valued colleague within a cross-functional team
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing market and organizational growth dynamics
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; excellent skills in Microsoft PPT
  • Ability to travel to various company meetings, patient events, and meetings with partner agencies. Approximately 15% travel
