Ecommerce Shopify Specialist

Tecovas is the first direct-to-consumer western brand, founded with the simple goal of making the world’s best western boots, apparel, and leather goods - and selling them at a fair price. We are a brand revolutionizing a category and welcoming first-time boot buyers and western enthusiasts alike. 

Tecovas is looking for an eCommerce Specialist to manage, and optimize our website, product catalog, and Shopify ecosystem. You will maintain Tecovas.com, manage third-party platforms and vendors, and pinpoint opportunities to provide our customers with a world-class experience that combines content and commerce. You will work closely with our development team and creative team to continue to improve eCommerce performance and support campaigns and initiatives from across the organization.

This position is based out of Austin, TX but will have the ability to work from home and in-office.

What you’ll do:

• Maintain our product catalog on Shopify, including new product creation, product content management, pricing/SKU/barcoding accuracy, tagging and collections merchandising, sales channel, and inventory management
• Accurately implement product launches, visual merchandising, promotions, and other marketing programs throughout the site, including the homepage, NAV, blogs, categories/PLPs, PDPs, collection & landing pages, and contact capture forms, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints
• Leverage e-commerce principles, analytics, and general business expertise to identify opportunities to improve conversion, product page views, cross-sell, up-sell, and add to cart rates, driving incremental engagement, sales, productivity, and profitability
• Working with the development team to troubleshoot any site issues, give guidance on requirements for new site features or projects, and lead quality assurance review and testing of features prior to release
• Working with the creative team to advise on web-specific campaign needs and asset creation specifications and best practices
• Staying current on emerging eCommerce technologies with the goal of applying these technologies to current and future projects

Experience we’re looking for:

• BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field
• 2+ years experience managing an eCommerce catalog and website on Shopify Plus or a similar eCommerce platform; knowledge of Shopify liquid a plus
• Familiarity with HTML and CSS
• Thorough and efficient troubleshooting and QA skills
• Experience with Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Google Optimize (or similar), and/or SQL is a plus
• Bonus points for SEO and Google Search console experience
• Bonus points for CRO and/or UX/UI Design experience
• Bonus points for WCAG/ADA requirements and maintenance
