We are seeking a resilient, organized self-starter to join our Human Resources department. Our Entry Level Human Resources Assistants thrive in ambiguity and can lead their projects into completion. Simply put, we are looking to invest time and energy into developing the most elite Human Resources team in the Salt Lake City area. Responsibilities as an Entry Level Human Resources Assistant

  • Develop and cultivate relationships with various levels of management, candidates, and external corporate specialists
  • Scheduled and confirm appointments for management staff
  • Answering phones professionally moving callers to a proper representative or answering questions as needed
  • Appropriately address employee concerns, helping to ensure we drive to a proper resolution
  • Efficiently and effectively fill open positions by screening resumes, qualify applicants, scheduling applicants for zoom interviews, and hiring final candidates
  • Ensure compliance standards with our policies and procedures
  • Submit daily and weekly reports via email to the internal leadership team promptly
  • Manage new hire workflow, including onboarding, checking references as requested, submitting for background checks, ensuring background check has been completed, collecting/reviewing paperwork, File paperwork, and extending offers to selected candidates
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and spreadsheets in various company technologies and software
  • Attend daily meetings to stay up to date with company announcements

Requirements as an Entry Level Human Resources Assistant: 

  • Degree in Human Resources, Business Management, Business, Communications or related fields 
  • Experience in Administration, HR, Recruiting, Reception, or Customer Service preferred
  • Prior leadership experience in either a sport or University-related organization or club
  • Exceptional relationship-building and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
  • Demonstrates superior abilities in attention to detail, organization, communication and time management
  • Self-starter with independent problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to utilize computerized systems, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and ZOOM
  • Proficient and confident working independently or as a team depending on the task
