Event Management Trainee

California Lifestyle Foundation is one of the fastest-growing fundraising firms in the Fairfield area. We are seeking an energetic, self-motivated, and passionate team player to become our next Event Management Trainee. Event Management Trainees should be tenacious individuals that are knowledgeable in customer-oriented environments with a drive to continuously develop their skills. Our focus is to create interactive promotional campaigns to create brand awareness and increase donor loyalty for our charity partners. Event Management Trainee Responsibilities: 

• Implement promotional campaigns and brand awareness strategies by interacting with the client's potential donors
• Assist the Marketing & Event team in achieving community awareness and fundraising goals
• Engage with community members in a friendly and informational manner
• Attend training seminars on all current promotional campaigns and client initiatives
• Communicate properly and effectively in a professional manner to convey our charity partners brand message
• Inventory management and forecasting as needed 

Event Management Trainee Requirements:

• A High School diploma or equivalent is required
• Experience in management, leading teams, or working as a supervisor 
• Ability to effectively and professionally communicate with customers and store personnel
• Strong desire to continue learning and developing professional skill sets
• Outstanding relationship building and interpersonal skills
• Positive attitude and self-driven motivation
• Ability to problem-solve effectively and independently
• Confidence personally speaking to groups and individuals 

• Flexible availability to work day, evening, weekends and may include local travel
