THE POSITION

Cosm is looking for a unique, talented person who can ensure our facility runs smoothly without disrupting our teams and demonstrations. This position will also help with our shipping and receiving tasks.   

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), non-exempt (hourly) position with full company benefits.

Responsibilities:

• Manage building & equipment maintenance schedules
• Respond to urgent maintenance calls
• Manage equipment and supply needs, including furniture, office equipment, climate control, landscape, and snow removal vendors
• Assists with overseeing the cleaning crew and other maintenance workers
• Document processes and keep maintenance records
• Monitor facilities/maintenance budget spending
• Manages the shipment and receipt of all products, materials, and supplies
• Collaborates and communicates with logistics, customer service representatives, service providers, and others involved in the shipment and receipt of products
• Tracks, traces, and updates the status of incoming and outgoing shipments
• Maintains a clean, neat, and safe working environment
• Promptly unloads trucks and deliveries and sorts and stocks receivables
• Maintains an accurate log sheet of daily moves, inventory, and counting accurately
• Engages with vendors, employees, and drivers with a positive attitude
• Produce international shipping documentation
• Inspecting goods received for damage
• Distributing packages to departments
• Operates forklift safely

Qualifications: 

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Minimum of 1 year of actual shipping & receiving and facilities experience
• Forklift Certification within 30 days of job entry date
• Ability to respond to building and equipment emergencies
• Ability to respond to building and equipment emergencies at any time, including nights and weekends
• Knowledge of building safety and security protocols
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software such as FedEx, UPS, etc.

Physical Requirements: 

• Prolonged periods standing & walking throughout facilities
• Must be able to lift to 30 pounds at times
• Must be able to bend, lift, stretch, climb
• Must be able to perform work in a variety of weather conditions
