Job Description

Independently use financial principles to solve moderately complex to complex business problems while performing financial modeling related to P&L, Balance Sheet, Covenant Schedule, Cash flow, Cost Accounting, Pricing, Daily Sales Reports, and Operational Analysis.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Independently prepares recurring or ad hoc financial reports and analysis or cost benefit analysis to support and provide insights for decision-making.
  • Works closely with accounting to provide financial reports and operations for cost analysis
  • Delivers moderately complex to complex financial research and value-added business decision support.
  • Recommends or implements solutions to key financial and operational opportunities.
  • Responsible for calculating report, product pricing, product profitability and ad hoc analysis.
  • Acts as a valued business partner by providing informed, proactive analysis and business insights to enable effective decision-making and efficient resource utilization.
  • Records all the costs incurred by the business in a way that can be used to improve its management.
  • Acquires and applies intermediate knowledge of the business, its products and processes to resolve issues and navigate obstacles to deliver work product.
  • Conduct internal and external financial and economic research.
  • Monitor, track, assess and provide insights on business performance and trends.
  • Analyze financial data (past results, variance analysis, trends, etc.) and create financial models for decision support
  • Develop financial and operations models to support the stakeholders with decision making

Requirements

  • Strong Financial Modeling experience
  • Experience with Business Intelligence tools
  • Strong Data modeling and relational databases
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field required.
  • 5 years of financial / accounting analysis or related work experience
  • Mainframe computer use, Microsoft Word, and Excel, & NetSuite, BI
  • Highly organized with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
  • Analytical skills with an attention to detail.
