Primary Responsibilities

In the role of Greenhouse Gas Analyst we'll count on you to:

• Support all aspects of medium to large-sized multidiscipline GHG projects with a diverse, multi-disciplinary team
• Participate in marketing, contractual, design and production meetings
• Support consulting services on greenhouse gas (GHG) management, with a primary focus on carbon strategy development and market analysis related to GHG emissions and carbon offset credits.
• Perform projects involving GHG emissions inventories, GHG mitigation and carbon management strategy development and implementation.
• Provide economic analysis related to greenhouse gas (GHG) mitigation, including carbon sequestration, carbon removals, economic analysis of regulatory and policy options, lifecycle analysis and valuation of carbon.
• Support emissions impact assessments from federal, state, regional and local GHG regulations and mitigation policies such as methane emissions regulations, cap & trade and fuel and energy standards.
• Assist with studies of the costs and effectiveness of emissions abatement. Support analyses of developing technology for renewable fuel production and decarbonization.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering related fields

• 5-8+ years of related experience

• Experience with some or all of the following standards: GHG Protocol Corporate Standard; GHG Protocol Value Chain Scope 3 Standard; GHG Protocol Corporate Standard; Net Zero Carbon Standard; Carbon Offset project verification standards

• Experience supporting development of GHG inventories (Scope 1, 2 and 3) and decarbonization prioritization planning.

• Must have the ability to interact with diverse design teams and subject matter experts, have excellent organizational, project management and communication (both written and verbal) skills
