Job Summary We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the food industry, particularly in fine dining settings. This role requires a creative individual who can design and prepare exceptional dishes while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality. The Chef will play a vital role in menu development, kitchen management, and maintaining an efficient workflow within the kitchen. Responsibilities • Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring that all food is prepared to the highest standards. • Develop and design innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends and customer preferences. • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling practices. • Train and supervise kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and productive environment. • Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed to maintain stock. • Collaborate with the dietary department to accommodate special dietary needs and preferences. • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to health and safety standards. • Assist in bartending duties as required, creating signature cocktails that complement menu offerings. Qualifications • Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within the restaurant or food service management sector. • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for food handling. • Experience in fine dining establishments is highly desirable. • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively. • Creativity in menu planning and presentation of dishes. • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of kitchen management. • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards. • Familiarity with various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
