Lead Powder Coater

We are looking for a 2nd Shift Powder Coater for our Pflugerville, TX facility. 2nd Shift: (3:30pm to 12:00am; M-F) Primary Responsibilities • Applies powder on parts/assemblies in accordance with product specifications • Performs in-process checks to assure that the process is in control • Unloads parts, part racks, and hooks from the line while visually inspecting completed parts • Sets powder equipment for proper tolerances, color and feed rate • Responsible for work preparation, clean up, and quality assurance of own work and work area • Must be able to lift/push/pull 50+ lbs. • Follow ISO 9001:2015 procedures. Qualifications: • Possesses strong attention to detail for accurate and repeatable measurements, recording data and interpreting blueprints • Understanding of metal types • Strong work ethic, attendance, punctuality, and initiative • A supportive team member who works collaboratively within a group. • Comfortable working in a fast paced environment. • Follows OSHA Requirements, Safety, Good Housekeeping and EVS Policies and Procedures. Education and Experience • Has a minimum of a High School diploma/GED • 1+ year of manufacturing experience preferred • At least 1 year of prior experience powder coating sheet metal. Physical Demands: • Able to lift up to 50lbs • Perform repetitive movements • Bend and lift, loading and unloading work pieces into the machine, and move from one workstation to another, alternately sitting and standing Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40 per week Benefits: • 401(k) matching • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Paid time off • Vision insurance Work Location: In person
