Lead Revenue Cycle Architect

Job Description
As a Sr. Revenue Cycle Architect, you will lead revenue cycle integration, workflow and technical design across all revenue cycle solutions and venues. You will Influence workflow and technical decisions, articulating operational and financial impacts to client and Cerner project teams. You will participate in executive level client discussions regarding revenue cycle expectations and opportunities for improvement. The role also consists of managing and resolve project escalations as point of contact for revenue cycle leadership. You will lead clinically driven revenue cycle (CDRC) conversations across venues. Other duties will include consulting with CIO, CFO, and revenue cycle leadership to define financial metrics, key performance indicators and reporting prior to conversion. You will participate in legacy accounts receivable planning conversations and decisions. The Sr. Revenue Cycle Architect with also contribute to continuous process improvement opportunities within the Revenue Cycle Architect community.

Working Environment

Hybrid or Remote

This position offers a Hybrid or Remote working environment. Meaning if you live within a metro area of a Cerner office, you will split working time between a Cerner office and remote. If you are not within a metro area of a Cerner office, you can live and work in your current geographical location and work primarily remote. #LI-Hybrid #Remote

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications

• At least 10 years total combined related work experience and completed higher education, including:
  • At least 3 years healthcare information technology (HCIT) consulting, HCIT support and/or other client-facing or information technology (IT) solution work experience
  • At least 7 years additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job and/or completed higher education
• High School Diploma
• Certified Revenue Cycle Professional (CRCP) - American Association of Healthcare Administrative Management
• Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR) - Healthcare Financial Management Association

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience
• Certified Healthcare Financial Professional (CHFP) - Healthcare Financial Management Association

Expectations

• Perform other responsibilities as assigned
• Willing to travel up to 80% as needed
• Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
• Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
