WHAT YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE

 The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for supervising the work of the maintenance technicians in support our manufacturing operations. This position will also be involved in safety programs and facility improvement projects. This role will support multiple shifts and therefore allows for schedule flexibility. Duties will include: 

• Manage maintenance request system and PM program.
• Prioritize and assign the work of maintenance team. 
• Oversee and at times conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment.
• Perform scheduled and emergency repairs of production machinery and other equipment within the facility.
• Diagnose problems, and replace or repair machinery, parts and tools.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance performed on all equipment and systems.
• Oversee contractors when professional repairs are necessary.
• Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.
• Promote safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
• Performs “handyman” maintenance duties such as furniture moves, aesthetic projects, light construction, and assist with janitorial functions at times.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Facilities & Safety Manager.

• Proven maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong experience in people leadership and program management. 
• Skilled in the use of hand and power tools
• Ability to interpret blueprints and repair manuals
• Experience with precision measuring instruments or electronic testing devices
• Strong time management skills
• Creative problem-solving skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• High sense of urgency and outstanding follow-through abilities
• Experience operating forklifts preferred
• Welding certificate and experience a huge plus

• High school diploma or equivalent
